FSSC 22000 - Food safety at the highest level
FSSC 22000 certification validates our food safety management system in accordance with a globally recognised standard. It combines the requirements of ISO 22000 with the sector-specific preventive programmes of the ISO 22002 series, as well as additional guidelines from the FSSC Foundation. The requirements are comparable to those of IFS Food and BRCGS Food; all three are recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

HACCP - System for controlling food-specific hazards
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a legal requirement for all food businesses. We implement it in full and in a documented manner. Through clearly defined processes, we ensure that potential sources of hazard during production, filling and storage are systematically identified, assessed and controlled.

GMP - Good Manufacturing Practice

Consistent implementation of GMP is essential, particularly for food supplements containing sensitive active ingredients or subject to high quality standards – to ensure product safety, batch consistency and international market acceptance.
Naturland
Naturland goes one step further than the EU Organic Regulation. The certification combines stricter environmental criteria with binding social standards and the option of additional fair trade certification.

Dietetic foods / balanced diets
We hold the necessary authorisation to manufacture foods for special medical purposes (balanced diets) in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 and the national dietary regulations.
Biohealth International manufactures such products for patients whose nutritional requirements cannot be met by consuming normal foods due to certain illnesses, disorders or specific conditions.
