Goodbye period pain and a helping hand for the most wonderful moment

Period pain? - Oh no...
Lower abdominal cramps, fatigue, headaches, discomfort – menstruation is an irritating and unpleasant affair for many women. It is caused by the shedding of the uterine lining, which is no longer required if there isn’t a fertilised egg cell that embeds itself in the lining during a woman’s cycle.
But periods don’t have to be excessively painful. We have tips to help make your periods less painful and, with our Goodbye Period Pain tea, we also offer a product to help your painful periods pass quickly.

Period pain? - good riddance!
We have developed an instant beverage to use as a tea for period pain and which delivers the combined power of a balanced blend of herbal remedies with pain-relieving properties.
Essential components in the powder are lavender (Lavandula pedunculata) and chamomile (Matricaria recutita), as well as rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), ginger (Zingiber officinale) and chasteberry (vitex agnus-castus). Lavender is said to have cramp-relieving properties and relaxes the body and soul. It’s well known that chamomile has a pain-relieving effect and, together with rosemary and ginger, it can inhibit the release of prostaglandins – the hormones that cause painful periods. Chasteberry is a particularly effective plant for managing period pain. The plant is said to help regulate the hormonal balance and provide lasting relief from menstrual symptoms. This instant beverage also contains magnesium, which acts as a muscle relaxant for abdominal cramps, and iron to counteract iron deficiency during periods.
And for a final flourish, we have three delicious options: Zesty, refreshing lemon, blueberry-lavender for extra relaxation or sheer vitality from red fruits.
Please ask us about your favourite variety!

A helping hand for the most  wonderful moment
Not only do we have a solution for period pain, we can also offer support for women who want to get pregnant. Our experts have developed Femme Fertile tablets to provide women with the vital substances they need before and during pregnancy.
A combination of iodine, folic acid and vitamins E, D, B2, and B12 supply the body with essential vitamins. Folic acid is one of the most common vitamin deficiencies in women and is especially important before and during pregnancy. A deficiency in this vitamin has been shown to cause a cleft palate or spina bifida in newborn babies, and there is also a link between a lack of folic acid and some heart defects and premature births.

Tips to relieve cramps

Heat
Whether you use heated pads, hot water bottles, heat patches or a hot bath, heat relaxes your cramping lower abdominal muscles, relieving the pain.

Exercise
Sport or yoga can loosen your muscles and improve circulation, reducing the intensity of the pain.

Massage
The painful area can be massaged in circular movements, ideally using an essential massage oil with cramp-relieving properties.

Tea
Many plants such as lavender, ginger and chasteberry are regarded as remedies for period pain. These are ideal for brewing up a tea and provide double the relief: Firstly, the herbal active ingredients act to relieve cramps and secondly, the heat also helps soothe the pain. These teas are also easily enjoyed at work, allowing you to power through the day despite having your period.
