Muenchberg. In the 20th year of the company's existence, Biohealth Managing Director Stefan Gebhardt is handing over to Dr Peter Pfeilschifter on 1 July. "As a shareholder, I will continue to contribute strategically to Biohealth with my ideas and my network," Stefan Gebhardt promises.

After the death of his father, the now 45-year-old took over Biohealth in 2007 at the age of only 29 and developed the company into one of the most important manufacturers of food supplements in Germany. At the time of the change of management, Biohealth International GmbH is in a solid position and generates a turnover of more than 50 million euros with about 250 employees.

The new head of Biohealth, Dr Peter Pfeilschifter, most recently headed the fortunes of HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition AG as CEO. He holds a degree and a doctorate in economics and organisational sciences from the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich and has held various management positions since 2003, including Gelita AG and Glanbia Nutritionals Deutschland GmbH.
