Flavour Powders with trendy yuzu fruit and other exotic flavors

Vitafoods Europe in Geneva is coming soon! Let’s talk about the trending flavours and exotic tastes. We’d also like to introduce our team from product development and regulatory affairs.

Trendy and exotic flavours

Yuzu and lychee are two trending flavours that are becoming increasingly popular in the culinary world. Yuzu, a citrus fruit from East Asia, offers a refreshing and unique aroma that tastes like a blend of lemon, grapefruit and mandarin. This versatility makes yuzu a popular ingredient in cocktails and high-end cuisine.

On the other hand, lychees and their sweet, flowery flavour and juicy texture have conquered the hearts of many. This exotic fruit originally came from China and is now used around the world in desserts, beverages and even savoury dishes.

Both yuzu and lychee fit perfectly with the current trend for exotic and diverse flavours. Their unique flavour profiles can be incorporated in innovative products such as flavour powders, shakes and various powder blends.

A great new flavour – Aloe lychee

We’ve used a fresh and flowery aloe-lychee flavouring for our latest flavour powder, which captures the ultimate summer vibe. This aloe-lychee flavour powder is a real treat for your taste buds when mixed with milk, yoghurt or quark. We particularly recommend preparing the flavour powder with our neutral ice-cream base in an ice-cream maker. Among other nutrients, it contains vitamins C, D and E. Ice cream that’s good for you and your taste buds? Easy, just use our functional ice-cream base.

Our aloe-lychee flavour has many more applications beyond flavour powders. Its fresh and fruity taste adds a delicious flavour to isotonic drinks. Rehydration and enjoyment – our isotonic beverage powders make it possible!
Would you like to try this aloe-lychee flavour for yourself? Come and visit us at our stand (L102) at Vitafoods! We’re packing an aloe-lychee flavoured isotonic drink for you right now.

Our product development

A collagen drink that tastes like a fruity daiquiri or a protein made from goat’s milk? Our product development team makes it possible! At Biohealth, experienced food chemists, food technologies, food technicians and nutritional scientists diligently work on a recipe until the efficacy of the product and the taste are set to impress. Our experts in the regulatory affairs department focus on marketability and provide guidance on mandatory labelling, health claims and other optional information to ensure everything is watertight when it comes to legal matters. This is all part of the service at Biohealth.
Have we tickled your taste buds? Try us out and we’ll create your product!

The sensory lab – where the magic happens!

Our in-house sensory lab ensures your product is just as tasty as it is effective. It’s here that our colleagues put all their expertise and enthusiasm into creating the best-tasting product samples for you to try.
For some time now, our sample sachets have featured a QR code. This code takes you to an online form, which makes it easy to submit feedback on the sample. Your feedback is sent directly to our colleagues in the lab, who can then implement your requested changes as quickly as possible.
Would you like to ensure product stability? In addition to optimising the flavour of products, we also conduct stability testing upon request.
